The Shattered v0.11.2 - new game modes and more!


Hello everyone!

There is a new version of The Shattered available on itch!

This version contains new, more difficult game modes as well as new arena type, new effects and more!

Full changelog

New features:

  • New game modes: Standard (already existing), roguelite+ (after death you start from beginning but you keep shards) and roguelike (after death you lose everything)
  • Enemy details tab in battle panel! You can also check there kill counter for the enemies
  • New game screen to show that we plan more playable characters (and to be able to choose game mode)
  • We started displaying some lore related descriptions and dialogues - we will expand on it in future
  • New game scenario - disappearing floors - currently it is hardcoded to occur every 5 lvls for testing purposes
  • New game modification - teleporting traps
  • New skills/potion/healthbars UI on PC
  • New look for Teleports level
  • Option to disable auto aiming when casting fireball
  • Added option to exit to main menu

Changes:

  • Reduced attack power scaling from 30% to 25%
  • Fixed issue with hidden splash/blood visuals
  • Fixed incorrect camera on ancients/shattered mirrors bossfights
  • Added a visual effect for enemy exhaustion status
  • Added simple shadows for characters
  • Negative effects % is now called resistance, has scalling starting from 0 and going upwards, scalling has been changed from 20% to 25% (small buff)
  • Cooldown reduction scales from 0 now and its going upwards
  • Explosions have now different visuals
  • Added player position interpolation to obtain a bit smoother movement feeling
  • PC players can now keep mouse button pressed to keep auto attacking
  • Min lvl for challenge arena to appear changed from 5 to 10
  • [PC] Space hotkey can be used for dash skill
  • [PC] Menu button has been hidden
  • Fixed a bug with despawning shattered mirror elite
  • Small fixes in teleports scenario
  • Fixed a bug allowing players to reforge destroyed shards
  • Added some light sources in standard arenas
  • Meteor skill is now less aggressive 
  • If possible, player will no longer receive the same trait bonus when rerolling new vessel quadrant
  • Added sound effects for the teleport enemy
